Purpose

Our Values

Christian Leadership & Campus Leadership

We seek to teach servant leadership so that sisters may grow their ability to walk by faith while setting spiritual and ethical examples for both Christians and those who have not yet received Christ.  As it is written in 1 Peter 5:2-3, we are to be shepherds of Gods flock that is under your care, serving as overseersnot because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

Sisterhood

Just as Matthew 12:50 states, “whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my…sister…” As sisters, we enjoy sincere fellowship in a family atmosphere.  Fellowship time includes frequent social activities, sleepovers, retreats, semi-formals, and formals.  At such events, we find a safe haven to laugh together and cry together, sharing the best of our college years and creating friendships to last a lifetime.

Spiritual Development

Spiritual development is vital to finding our destiny in Christ.  Through weekly Bible studies, we seek to grow in the wisdom and knowledge of our Lord, God, and Savior.  2 Timothy 2:15 commands “…present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth.”  Ephesians 4:14-16 says, “Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.  Instead speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.  From Him the whole body, joined together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”  In addition to Bible studies, we seek after God through regular musical worship, prayer, and campus evangelism, as each component is such a vital part of being mature and well-rounded in Christ.

Good Scholarship

We support sisters in their pursuit of a college degree and discourage participation in sorority activities at the cost of their educational goals.

Service

We participate in regular service projects in order to give back to the community what the Lord has given unto us.  In giving of our time, labor, and money, we ultimately desire to give God glory, honor and praise.  As it is written in Matthew 5:16, “let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Excellence and Find Standards

We strive to hold one another accountable in body, that we live healthy lives, treating ourselves as temples of the Lord; in mind that we maintain emotional balance, maturing in wisdom and in character; and in spirit that we grow in the knowledge and stature of God.

Love through Life in Christ

In all things, we desire to live a life radiating Christ’s agape love, for there is nothing that is worth the sacrifice of love.  “There are three things that will endurefaith, hope, and loveand the greatest of these is love,” (1 Corinthians 13:13).  Love is the greatest witness.  “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another,”
